Firstly and most importantly plastic combs are made from fossil fuels and the manufacturing process is conducted in polluting fossil fuel factories.  Dappe Combs are made from a recycled paper composite.  A material that is FSC® certified and manufactured with zero off-gassing using equipment that recycles manufacturing energy back into the system to be used again.
